Sally Bulteel’s latest body of work, THIS BRIGHT WORLD, is a vibrant body of work celebrating the love of nature through vivid depictions of birds and the English countryside, capturing the beauty of the world around us with bright, uplifting colours. This collection reflects Sally’s passion for showcasing the natural world’s charm and inspires viewers to appreciate its joyful essence. In the words of Sir David Attenborough:
“No one will protect what they don’t care about, and no one will care about what they have never experienced.”
Nature is for all to enjoy and all to protect.

A portfolio showcasing Sally Bulteel's work around the subject of taste. We live in a world that is obsessed with image; trying to live up to the expectations of others. The pressure to be stylish or fashionable is always there, in our homes, the clothes we wear or our make up and hair style. Sally's work is about the questions: What is taste? Who dictates taste? Do we have a right to judge?
Are these paintings with their stark bright colours tasteful or stylish? it is up to the viewer to decide.

Time and Place is an ongoing theme that looks at places visited either reflecting Sally's memories or creating mementos for others. The memory of a place is not the place.
